Summer Activities in Adelaide

By Brett Pilgrim

If you’re currently planning your summer holiday activities in Adelaide, you may be a little fed up with hearing about Christmas events.

So, instead of more festive season gatherings, here are three summer month activities for residents of property in Adelaide to enjoy that have nothing to do with the fat man in the red suit.

Head down to the beach

As the mercury rises, the blue waters of the ocean become more appealing. Grab your swimsuit and head down the sandy shores of West Beach, Henley Square or one of the many other coastline hot spots.

Take a trip to the Zoo

Owners of property in North Adelaide are in prime position to wander over to Adelaide Zoo.

Within walking distance of the city centre and nestled in Botanic Park, the city zoo is great for a family-friendly day of fun.

Visit Adelaide’s famous pandas as well as big cats, giraffes and hippos, among others.

Take a dip in the SA Aquatic Centre

For a bit of indoor water fun, head on in to the SA Aquatic Centre.

This modern swimming park has an impressive interactive playground and two fast, adrenaline pumping slides to keep the kids entertained while you cool off out of the blazing summer sun.
