Savour Australia Comes to Adelaide

By Brett Pilgrim

Adelaide Convention Centre will host Savour Australia, an exciting event that combines business sessions, tasting and networking forums, on September 15-18, 2013.

Residents and owners of property in North Adelaide can look forward to a busy weekend, with an ‘Australia’s Global Wine Forum’ making the city a hub of activity.

The itinerary will also include themed lunches and dinners, making this unique event one of the most extensive symposiums on Australian wine ever conducted.

The honour of playing host to Savour Australia was bestowed in part because of the Adelaide Convention Centre’s accomplishments with the Cellar Door Wine Festival – Australia’s most lauded consumer event.

The distinction of being able to host Savour Australia also reflects the culture and charm of the city, and owners of real estate in Adelaide will likely appreciate the tribute.

Savour Australia will gather approximately 750 of the world’s most influential professionals in the wine trade. Attendees include a wide range of specialists, such as Australian winemakers, buyers, retailers, sommeliers, and reporters.

Mr James Gosper, Wine Australia’s General Manager, Market Development, said they are excited to bring Savour Australia to life by collaborating with the Australian wine industry to enhance the amenities available at the convention centre.

Mr Gosper said, “We’re ready to welcome the world’s wine trade, challenge their perceptions of Australian wine and showcase the diversity, quality and regionality of our wine offer.”
