The race, which will take place 24 October, was inspired by the popular television programme The Amazing Race and asks several corporate teams to participate in both physical and intellectual challenges. The money participants raise goes to a charitable cause, so you can feel good about taking part. Last year the race raised $10,000 for Vinnies in South Australia – a pretty significant sum for just having a fun day with friends.
And if the fundraising aspect wasn't enough to sway those coworkers who are on the fence, just tell them about the prizes! The winning team will receive four tickets to a Rolling Stones concert and a VIP tour of Channel Nine studios, and there are plenty of other great prizes too.
