Race Around Adelaide registration open

By Brett Pilgrim

If you've recently purchased property in Adelaide, chances are you're employed somewhere nearby. And sure, some working relationships are best left in the office, but there are certainly a few folks you're keen to have a drink or meal with or a work buddy who's always willing to cheer for your favourite rugby team when there's a match on.

Next time you head into the office, round up those friendly faces, because it's nearly time to register for Race Around Adelaide 2014.

The race, which will take place 24 October, was inspired by the popular television programme The Amazing Race and asks several corporate teams to participate in both physical and intellectual challenges. The money participants raise goes to a charitable cause, so you can feel good about taking part. Last year the race raised $10,000 for Vinnies in South Australia – a pretty significant sum for just having a fun day with friends.

And if the fundraising aspect wasn't enough to sway those coworkers who are on the fence, just tell them about the prizes! The winning team will receive four tickets to a Rolling Stones concert and a VIP tour of Channel Nine studios, and there are plenty of other great prizes too.

What's the point of owning great Adelaide real estate if you're not taking advantage of all the great events the area has to offer? Get in on the Race Around Adelaide today to bond with friends and do some good in your community.

Don't delay – priority is given to the first ten teams that register. If you've been looking for an excuse to get to know some coworkers or just take part in a charitable event, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.
