Free wireless internet for Norwood

By Brett Pilgrim

If you own property in Norwood, then you already know all about the vibrant heritage sites and bountiful acres of open park space ready for the public to use – but do you know about the free computer, internet and wireless facilities that are also available to you?

If you're a member of the libraries from the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters then you have access to 70 megabytes per day, free of charge, that can be used wirelessly on on your laptop or mobile device at any of these facilities.

And for those that don't have such a device, you can use the public computers! Complete with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office, these Windows computers are your free gateway to the information superhighway, where you can coast to your heart's content. Whether you wish to check up on your emails, stay up to date with your media channels or simply have a casual surf on the web, your needs are catered for. Printing comes as cheaply as 20 cents per page and scanning services are also available – just don't forget a pen drive to take your files away with you!

And if you want to hone your inner computer whiz, these local libraries also offer basic and advanced training courses in computer literacy.

Roam where you want to

Joining your local library is free, and the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters libraries are connected to the South Australia one card network, enabling you to borrow and use facilities at any of the 130 library facilities across the state.

We live in a fast-paced world where internet access is quickly becoming a necessity, and this easy access to information allows Norwood property owners to benefit and connect with the rest of Adelaide and the world without cost or difficulty. The real estate market in Adelaide moves fast, and we want you to be able to come with us!
