Residents of the real estate in Adelaide have been enjoying the new city library which has seen over 36,000 visitors in the four short weeks since it opened. The library is located on Rundle Place which is convenient for anyone who works, studies or lives in the central city suburbs.
Locals have even more to love about the library with the latest addition of the Adelaide City Digital Hub. The Hub will be running computer training courses and sessions in its new home at the city library.
There is a session for everyone from beginners to advanced computer users and each class is free-of-charge. Sessions will cover everything from learning how to browse the web to using complex applications such as Instagram.
“We’ve maintained the traditional role of the library as the place to browse and borrow books, but we’ve extended this function to incorporate all manner of modern technology for people to try out and learn about,” said Sabine Jung, Adelaide City Council program manager, City Community.
The new city library also holds numerous other events for occupants of property in Adelaide, including lunchtime yoga sessions and readings from all kinds of literary residents.
