Owners of real estate in Adelaide are invited along to the city’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, which will take place in Elder Park.
A number of talented musicians from all over South Australia will be performing at the event, which is also set to feature an impressive firework display designed by Foti International Fireworks.
Gates will be open from 6pm, with the Nine News Fireworks scheduled to be lit at both 9pm and midnight.
The city’s lord mayor Stephen Yarwood said: “It is the perfect opportunity for families and friends to get together and celebrate the new year by the banks of the beautiful River Torrens in Elder Park.
“We’ve selected a diverse mix of local acts, which will appeal to all tastes and ages, to perform from the historic Elder Park Rotunda.”
The free event is expected to draw in crowds from all over Adelaide and its suburbs, as people come together to celebrate the start of 2014 and experience the best of what the city has to offer.
A licenced bar and beer garden will be open throughout the duration, while food and wine is also being sold to make sure the party is in full swing.
