Sport and music fans living in property in Adelaide can be reassured that the number of large scale events happening in the city is set to grow.
The recently revamped Adelaide Oval is now a state-of-the-art venue with a seating capacity for 54,000 spectators. This upgrade will ensure that international events will continue to occur in Adelaide for the enjoyment of those living in the area.
The upgrade has already led to the return of national AFL games to the city. The events schedule will kick off with the home teams Port Adelaide Power and Adelaide Crows going head to head on March 29.
Located in the heart of Adelaide, the oval is walking distance from the city centre and centrally located for those living in the inner northern suburbs.
Alternatively, in order to encourage attendance at AFL matches and the use of public transport, sports fans can utilise the free Adelaide Oval Express which will operate on game days.
The oval is also set amongst the city’s parklands where residents of real estate in Adelaide can enjoy the outdoors by utilising the park’s many playgrounds, dog exercise areas, walkways and cycle tracks.
