Adelaide Festival is just under a month away, with the popular event kicking off on February 28. Locals and visitors alike are no doubt looking forward to flocking to the South Australia capital city to partake in the festivities.
With several international acts in the line-up, Adelaide Festival 2014 is expected to draw in a big crowd. Recently announced star performers include DJ Harvey (hailing all the way from the UK), Total Eclipse (from Brooklyn, New York) and modern house act Frank Booker (NZ).
Running until March 15, the festival will no doubt be a great way to top off a wonderful summer in sunny South Australia.
One of the best things about living in a city is having access to various cultural events all year round. Compared with regional Australia, cities tend to attract more international talent, such as touring musicians, artists, writers and more.
Adelaide is no exception to this rule, however unlike pricey cities like Sydney and Melbourne, this South Australian metropolis is one of the most affordable urban areas to live in the country. What’s not to love?
